First report of the week
The Washington Commanders posted their first Week 1 practice report on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s opener at the Philadelphia Eagles (4:25 p.m. ET, FOX, Lincoln Financial Field).
Limited (Wednesday): RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin); EDGE Odafe Oweh (calf); EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson (knee). Reporting around the beat does not treat those as Sunday threats yet — treat midweek grades as provisional until Friday’s final.
Full / participating notes on the same report included C/G Nick Allegretti, LB Jordan Magee, QB Marcus Mariota, EDGE Charles Omenihu, and TE Ben Sinnott. No players on the 53-man roster were listed as did-not-participate Wednesday.
Already out for Week 1 (known): LT Laremy Tunsil and CB Trey Amos on injured reserve; EDGE Dorance Armstrong suspended one game. Jer’Zhan Newton and Jeremy McNichols are also on IR; Deatrich Wise Jr. is on reserve/PUP.
Three days to kickoff. Confirm Thursday and Friday reports on the club / NFL injury sheets. The Commanders page is the hub.
