Aïssata Traoré opened the scoring in the 81st. In stoppage time, Amanda Gutierres made it 2-0 in the 94th — intercepting a mishandled pass and finishing from distance with Sandy MacIver off her line — then added another in the 96th off a Lilly Reale cross (AP).

Washington is 13-7-4. Boston is 7-12-5.
