The streak ends at home

D.C. United lost 3–0 to the New England Revolution on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at Audi Field. Midfielder Alhassan Yusuf scored all three goals — the first Revolution regular-season hat trick since 2017 (AP). Jack Harrison had three assists.

United entered on a six-game unbeaten run. That ends. The club sits 5-6-9 (24 points) after the result.

DMV frame

D.C. United’s own post-match notes said the Black-and-Red were dangerous early and forced saves before New England scored against the run of play. Finishing never arrived.

Sport DMV is not rewriting the national recap. This is the local bookmark: home night, streak snapped, Eastern Conference math still live. Keep United pinned for the next Audi Field date.
