Wizards hold off Bulls 124-120 in Chicago

Road win after a messy Friday

Chicago tried to steal it late. The Wizards still left United Center with a 124-120 win Saturday and a 2-1 start (AP / NBA.com).

Trae Young led Washington with 25 points and nine assists. Kyshawn George added 22 points and nine rebounds. Anthony Davis had 19; Justin Champagnie grabbed 14 boards. Chicago got 30 and 14 from Caleb Wilson and a late push, but Washington’s third-quarter surge (40-20 in the period per the ESPN box) bought enough cushion.

Next: at Charlotte on Monday (Oct. 26), 7 p.m. ET, DMV window on MNMT. Confirm the board and inactive list closer to tip.

The Wizards page is the hub. Game center holds the Chicago night.
