Same building, different sport

Capital One Arena is the Wizards’ home the same way it’s the Caps’. The DMV story is the shared downtown: Chinatown / Gallery Place, the Metro dump after a loss, the nights when a visiting star actually sells the building out.

We’ll use that geography. If you’re coming from Silver Spring, Arlington, or the Prince George’s side, the question is the same: is this a Metro night or a parking night?

• Two-way / Go-Go overlap — names that shuttle to Entertainment and Sports Arena
• Schedule clusters — back-to-backs that decide whether you bother going downtown
