Caps host Flyers on Wednesday — TNT window after the Sabres OT win

Midweek home date, national lights

The Capitals are back at Capital One Arena on Wednesday (Oct. 28) at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Flyers, with a national window on TNT / truTV (confirm your local blackout map — ESPN also lists NBC Sports Philly+ for the visitors).

Washington’s last skate was Saturday’s 4-3 OT win over Buffalo — Alex Tuch with two goals including the overtime winner, Dylan Strome with two (NHL.com). That is the energy to carry into a division-ish Mid-Atlantic night: manage the lead better than the Sabres game required, and keep the home building loud early.

Confirm scratches closer to puck drop. Thursday brings a quick turn at Nashville — stack points while the calendar is friendly.
