The Washington Nationals beat the Miami Marlins 5-4 in 10 innings on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Nationals Park.

Washington jumped ahead 4-0 in the third — an error let two score, Brady House singled in Dylan Crews, and Jorbit Vivas doubled in House. Miami tied it in the seventh: Kyle Stowers doubled in two, then Héctor Hernández homered (398 feet) for two more. In the 10th, Crews singled to center with two outs to score automatic runner Nasim Nuñez. Orlando Ribalta (1-2) got the win; Michael Petersen took the loss.
